3-5 Day Intensive Training Institutes
The premise of our work is to educate those who first respond to and/or encounter human trafficking situations. We host regionally tailored training institutes inclusive of local and national anti-trafficking experts for a holistic approach. To help end sexual exploitation, state law enforcement agencies need more guidance on building trafficking cases and working with survivors. We utilize a combination of (1) offender-focused, and (2) victim-centered best practices that are evidence-based. This involves assisting law enforcement with building cases that do not arrest anyone in the sex trade, regardless of proof of exploitation. Survivor leaders guest lecture at every institute, we implement adult learning best practices for facilitation and interaction, and our local data and national scope informs every lesson.
